WOW! Weren’t our tiny ballerinas precious on stage? For those of you who missed it, every year Impact produces a winter show consisting of dancers in the Pre-Dance Program. With holiday music, an appearance by Santa, and all proceeds donated, this show definitely put us in the holiday spirit. This was a huge deal because for many of our students, it was their first time on a real stage. After months of dancing and preparing in the studio, they got to make their dreams come true- Dancing on stage like the “big kids.” This produces independence in the children, even at 2 years old. They feel proud and accomplished as they take their final pose on stage. Our winter show helps the dancers become familiar with being on stage, preparing them for our grand recital at the end of the dance year. Let’s not forget the best part of the show, though. The dancers are absolutely adorable! As they shake their jingle bells or march around the stage like toy soldiers, you can see the excitement on their faces. They love to dance and we love to watch them!
