Winter Wonderland Show

HINSDALE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL
5500 S. Grant St., Hinsdale, IL 60521

On Sunday, December 15, all Twinkle Tot, Pre-Dance, Jazz It Up, Hippity Hop, Jazzy Tumble, Kinder Combo, Grooves on Tap, & select Crew Company students are asked to participate in the Impact Dance Studio holiday shows entitled “Winter Wonderland” at Hinsdale Central High School. There is no dress rehearsal for these shows. The shows will begin promptly at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, & 2:00 pm and last approximately 30 minutes. The auditorium doors will open 30 minutes before each show time.

Tickets will be available to purchase online only starting Thursday, November 14 at 10:00 am through the “Winter Wonderland Tickets” button found on our homepage, www.ImpactDanceStudio.com. Admission will be assigned seating for $12.00 per ticket with 100% of the show proceeds will be donated to Lurie Children’s Hospital.

All dancers are asked to arrive, in costume, 30 minutes prior to show time and report to the cafeteria. There will be plenty of helpers there to direct you to your dancer’s table. We will have coloring books and activities for the children to do while they await their turn onstage. It is very important that you do not check your child in and then take them with you to sit in the auditorium; all children need to be accounted for at all times. There will be at least one adult and two older dance student supervisors for each class. If you feel that your child can not be left alone, we ask that you please stay with them in the cafeteria during the performance. Please wait until the entire show is over before returning to the cafeteria to retrieve your child. Everyone would like to see their child perform and entrances & exits during the show can be very distracting. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.

For the safety of the dancers, flash photography is not allowed during the performance. However, please feel free to take pictures in the cafeteria and onstage after the show is over. Please make sure you are courteous to those sitting behind you. Everyone wants to see the show, so please no standing in the aisles or kneeling on the seats.

Hair & Makeup Note- Stage lights are bright and tend to wash out a dancer’s face. If you are so inclined, please feel free to apply a little makeup so their features will stand out slightly while onstage. Makeup, however, is completely optional. If no specific hairstyle was mentioned for your dancer’s class, please be sure it is worn neat and away from their face. Feel free to use colored bows, headbands, etc. that match your dancer’s costume.
